Said a fond goodbye to my Norfolk family this morning. It is a beautiful warm day - I felt very calm so I drove alone to Morrisons. The first time for months. Didn't meet anyone in the lane - thankfully.

We had a beautiful sunny day yesterday - one where you could almost believe Spring was here. Back to grey today...
ReplyDeletewell done ... we are pleased too. your garden is lovely ... we hear that Scotland is 5 weeks behind and can believe it, the crocuses are still a purple carpet and the daffodils are hardly out!

ReplyDeleteI especially love the tiny blue flowers.
I use lots of greens, blue, pale pink and white in my very small garden. So that when the heat of summer 105+ comes all I see the cool color, No reds, oranges, bright yellow and no brown pots.
I think that is why I so enjoy when you post photos of your beautiful garden.

ReplyDeleteYes, we're also a few weeks behind here in Transylvania, but dafodils and the Japonica are finally out, plus some fantastic Gentiana Verna. The one thing really I'd like to grow but can't here is a carmine pink Camelia like the one you've got.

The stellata I put in the wrong place to start with - but it is happy now.
Chef: I'll ignore the slur on meand my fellow drivers cos' I'm so excited at winning sacks of llama poo. The garden will love it.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful garden, Pat! I'm still waiting for the snow to melt to discover what's planted in my yard. I bought the house in August last year so have no idea what will bloom. Anything green would be welcome. We're a month into Spring and it is actually snowing (yet again) today. I'm living in The Never Ending Winter. *sigh*

It's raining and muddy here, and only my spinach is growing big and wild. Your garden's more than calming, it's inspiring.
