Yes she does ! Besides all her outstanding accomplishments, just look how beautiful she is. I love the way she said once she like to wear bright colors so you can be able to see her when she is out and about. I saw some photos from the River Thames Pageant, all the boats ! I loved the white hat and coat she wore. What an amazing sight.
I was following her River trip this mornning on our TV. The newspapers have good stuff on the Queen in blue at the races yesterday. Personally, only two generations removed, I'm a great fan.
Sixty years ago a mesmerized second grader sat with her classmates in the auditorium of a school in upstate NY, USA, and watched the coronation of the QUEEN on a tiny black and white TV. It was magical beyond imagination and I have been a fan of (almost) all things Elizabeth since.
Wow! We're really not feeling the jubilee up north! In fact I don't even have the day off Monday or Tuesday! How did the scots ever get the reputation of being a bunch of joyless, dour spoilsports?

Anyhoo, I am reminded of her poignant and understated grace during the "annus horribulus" some years back. She is quite remarkable and I wish her a long life.
Randall: yes life seems to have become much easier for her, over the last few years. Sadly Prince Phillip her husband had to miss the concert tonight as he is in hospital with a bladder infection. She will miss him at the Church service tomorrow but I'm hoping it clears up quickly and he's back where he belongs - by her side.
I'd quite like to borrow her jewellery collection....

Parsnip: in all the hours on board she didn't sit down - amazing. I noticed she carried a cashmere shawl which ended up round her shoulders.
