I must be losing my grip!

For 31 years MTl has always held back a present to tease me. Sometimes it would be midnight before it woud suddenly appear under the tree. This year with all he's had to contend with - it never occurred to me in a million years - after all I bought my handbag for him. So now Boxing Day morning I suddenly noticed a tiny red parcel which he told me had been there since yesterday tea-time. And here is this sweet antique brooch. I shall treasure it.

  11. All: he is all those things and more. I know I am the luckiest of women and spoilt rotten to boot. I really do appreciate him and am happy he falls a little short of sainthood (but don't shout it abroad)
It goes without saying that I'd swap everything to have him back to normal health.
Bliss was tempered by a blocked shower and three buckets under the kitchen ceiling this evening. Back to the drawing board. Time we opened the Cote du Rhone.

  17. UB: The jeweller - a man of few words, said it was Victorian. If he is there he always gives MTL an un- asked for discount- much appreciated.

Eryl: apparently he managed to park at the Co-op and walked from there.
