Jenny: I'm not surprised. If you click to make it bigger he is like a coiled spring. Do you remember how he used to go bananas when I used to imitate that presenter and say 'Hello - my name is?' Whatever it was.
A sturdy fellow who appears loving but I would not have wanted to meet up with him in a dark alley. I am guessing he would have been ferocious if the need arose. So sorry he is gone.
Granny Annie: I consulted my son about this and he said as long as you were human you'd be fine. If you were another dog and started sniffing him he would give you a warning. A dog has to make me love him and Buster certainly did. What are you thinking of walking down dark alleys?
He looks like a "Buster", full of energy. We adopted a dog a couple of years ago, a Norbottenspets, I knew it would mean more work for me, but now it's difficult to imagine being without her.
My beautiful boy with his fine, noble head.....although Tom remembers he launched himself off that table at the first opportunity!
ReplyDeleteBuster looks a grand lad!!

ReplyDeleteJohn: he was. Sadly we lost him last year.
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific photo. Buster looks like a wonderful friend for Alic and Tom.
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
Parsnip: he was. Alice and Tom are in their twenties now and we lost him last year so they were lucky - we all were.
ReplyDeleteBuster looks like he is about to leap off his Perch, and go after some other animal.....In His Prime---INDEED!A lovely doggie!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like they had to *hold him firmly* for the photo!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a dog to make children happy :-D
GG: Tom remembered he jumped off the minute the shot was taken.
ReplyDeleteNaomi: that's just what he did:)
It's sad when pets die, they become so part of the family. A nice trip down memory lane!
ReplyDeleteJoey: although Buster wasn't mine he was the third dog I've loved. Havoc, Jock and Buster R.I.P.

Still missing my old dog. Maybe it's time for a fresh pup?

Scarlet: at least you know what you would be taking on.
ReplyDeleteMy DIL has wisely decided that another dog wouldn't replace Buster.
Na: I remember seeing her on your blog. She's lovely.
