Those clear, blue skies are contrary to what we're being sold. England is supposed to be gray and dreary. What gives? Did you Photoshop the clouds away?
Mage: I inherited them. Wasn't I lucky. Oh except the Stellata. I planted it first in the wrong place, moved it where I could keep an eye on it an it's been happy ever since.
Oh my goodness, Love the garden photos . And I can't believe that I have some Grape Hyacinths too. But mine are in pots not just growing in in a lovely garden like yours.
My garden is also bursting into life. The previous owner of this property certainly knew what she was doing in the garden... she's going to be a tough act to follow as I am not exactly green fingered. I will try to remember to take some pics. Sx
It's great to see all the flowers blooming isn't it I was actually out gardening today. I realised just how much attention everything needs. We have 13 acres and it's all become like a forest!
Oh Pat....It ALL looks so Beautiful.....Spring is my very favorite Season.....Everything coming back to life....That Magnolia Tree is just gorgeous....! And I know it will only get more Beautiful as April and May come along....!
Ah dear lady, often I have pictured you in my minds eye, relaxing in the dusk of a Spring day, surrounded by so many delightful blooms and cradling the usual half bottle of mothers ruin in your lap. Fond memories indeed.
Beautiful! We are still neck deep in snow here in Central Canadia, unfortunately. While the first day of Spring was about -1C, today it is -14 but feels like -31 with the north wind that is blowing. I think Spring has been sucked back up into that Polar Vortex we've been swirling under all winter.
What a lovely mix of flowers and colours!
ReplyDeleteDaffodils have just opened here in the last 2 days! :)

ReplyDeleteHow lovely. I am eager for just one daffodil. I might even settle for a dandelion.
ReplyDeleteMike and Ann: it looks so much better in sunshine.]
ReplyDeleteKim: well maybe you'll retire to warmer climes like we did.
Exile: don't know how to use Photo shop. It's au Naturelle
Gosh that's inspiring. Just beautiful.

Parsnip: pots are the right place for grape hyacinths. They tend to be thugs:)
ReplyDeleteScarlet: once a garden is well established you can pretty well leave it apart from occasional tidying I find.
My magnolia hasn't bloomed yet. I suppose it's because I live further north than you.
ReplyDeleteEither that, or it's dead!

ReplyDeleteKeith: I'm sure it will bloom in time.
ReplyDeleteJoey: I've been lazy as far as actual gardening goes but I supervised planting of snowdrops in the green and lots of anenomes.
ReplyDeleteNaomi: I think May is the best month for this garden.
ReplyDeleteThe Spring can't be far off now.
Chef: you know me so well:)
