Sun's Back.

It's Sunday and The Valiant Soldier beckons. I have a problem; looking in my diary to see what's in store I found Dec 10th 10.30 am Louise.
The only Louise I recall was my # 1 son's first girl friend at Uni. And she was unforgettable. I've tried all the usual suspects - hair , teeth, hygienist, surgery, feet, eyes, friends - no dice - so I fear i'm going to have to give Louise a miss. If you're out there - Im truly sorry.

  1. Maybe Louise will ring to remind you as it seems the appointment(?) must have made ages ago.

  2. I was thinking the same thing that sablonneuse said! Wait for Louise to call.

I have this annoying habit of writing down phone numbers without the name! So I'm always left with scraps of paper with only numbers on them.
And sometimes I go through my cellphone and wonder who so-and-so is! Even with the name, I cannot recollect who it is!!

  3. Sandy and Cloud Cutter: good thinking - that takes the burden off me.

  4. My mum used to do that, and trying to piece out what was meant taught me a lesson. I have a diary with space for notes and I try hard to remember to make them. Still time, you might remember who Louise is.

  5. Z: very often my writing is indecipherable but this is so clear and legible - it spooks me a bit.

  6. She might turn out to be a stalker if you don't go. Or be a bit odd like Meryl Streep in that movie who's name completely escapes me...

Louise, I'm not, but I'm available on December 10, if you need an appointment.

    Cheers.

  9. I'm intrigued by who this might be. They are probably distraught at missing your fine company.

  10. MadameD: I have over a month for it all to come back to me. Fingers crossed it's not early Alzheiners.

  12. Leah: one thing's for sure; if I don't know who Louise is neither do my family and friends.

I'm sorry about Louise, but I do like the photos of your "artifacts"--especially the lighthouse.

  17. Queenie: hopefully time will tell.

Naomi: incurably romantic - there aren't many of us left:)

Charlie: I wasn't sure it ws a lighthouse. Ours are usually painted white.

FourD: gotcha! It was Glenn Close but was she in the bath or was it the wife? And it was a steal from an old French film that starred the wife of the director who made that fantastic film - 'The Wages of Fear'. Call you Al?
