It's Sunday and The Valiant Soldier beckons. I have a problem; looking in my diary to see what's in store I found Dec 10th 10.30 am Louise.
The only Louise I recall was my # 1 son's first girl friend at Uni. And she was unforgettable. I've tried all the usual suspects - hair , teeth, hygienist, surgery,feet, eyes,friends - no dice - so I fear i'm going to have to give Louise a miss. If you're out there - Im truly sorry.
Maybe Louise will ring to remind you as it seems the appointment(?) must have made ages ago.

ReplyDeleteI have this annoying habit of writing down phone numbers without the name! So I'm always left with scraps of paper with only numbers on them.
And sometimes I go through my cellphone and wonder who so-and-so is! Even with the name, I cannot recollect who it is!!

My mum used to do that, and trying to piece out what was meant taught me a lesson. I have a diary with space for notes and I try hard to remember to make them. Still time, you might remember who Louise is.

FourD: gotcha! It was Glenn Close but was she in the bath or was it the wife? And it was a steal from an old French film that starred the wife of the director who made that fantastic film - 'The Wages of Fear'. Call you Al?
