Eryl: in a previous life I used to make up a foursome and we would eat at an Indian restaurant. Many years later I was visiting the area and got great pleasure from phoning my friend - first time for years - and saying 'Fancy an Indian?' without missing a beat - 'Right-what time?'was the answer.

ReplyDeleteJohng:it is quite pretty and there was one waiter who I suspect didn't understand a word of English but he had limpid eyes so it really didn't matter.
