Scarlet: apparently it isn't a rare happening in Australia. sadly there ar sick people everywhere even in blogland.
It's incredible that anyone could deliberately start a fire under such circumstances. It makes it so much worse than a 'natural disaster' - and they're terrible enough.
Sandy: one wonders if they couldn't have a eucalyptus free zone all around the town. They go up like a tinder box but maybe they are uncontrollable.
This is just HORRIFIC! And it still rages on....So very terrible.
Desperate sad news. I heard on the radio earlier the death toll is over 180.Relieved to hear the family are safe Pat.
