Hi Rhea! I can't help thinking it might have the odd tick. One of my nursing friends kept a lamb she had nurtured for years and it was the grumpiest sheep and tried to tup everybody. We had a reunion on her small holding and another friend's dogs ended up with ticks. We were put up in an ancient caravan just like Montgomery's in WW 2 with no facilities! Unforgettable!
I used to talk to the sheep when I worked on a farm. They stood there staring at me intently chewing the cud. One even took to following me home over the fields and eating my dads prized petunias. He wasn't amused.
That's a nice, fluffy sheep. Would make a good pet.

ReplyDeleteFlossie! We thought you were gone forever!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find her, Pat? She just left us a note saying she wasn't happy. It wasn't us, it was her, she said. Needed to find herself, she said.
We thought that even if she managed to get to the mainland she'd never make it past the A9.
O Flossie!
Sam: we found her wandering about on Google and we'll give her a good home. As long as she stays tickless:)

ReplyDelete4d: O think one should talk to animals. I used to talk to Bridie the horse i used to ride - mainly to keep her calm so I wouldn't fall off.
