I'm happy with the new sofa - smartens us up somewhat but I shall miss the old one.<br /><br />Ponita: I had my first nap on it yesterday and it is much easier to arise from.<br /><br />Macy: Laura Ashley check first - asking if refuse collection vans get up the lane and we have French doors in the family room. The difficulty was MTL and I removing the old one out through the hall into the drawing room and into the sun room where it can be collected through the French doors.<br />It looked impossible but it's amazing what tilting can do. The ones we have are a lovely colour, but stains don't come out of the fabric like Ikea said they would. And when we wanted to replace the covers it turned out Ikea had discontinued this particular colour. We really need a new livingroom suite, so will have to make an effort to get out shopping for one soon. Are such things a joint decision in your house, or do you pull rank? I see eyes glaze over and mild terror set in when I ask for input here, so I'm the furniture chooser.
