Dear old Convalescent Home - now no more.

Today is a beautiful day, in spite of the rain and gloom, because at last I can get on with the story.

I have just stumbled across your site and am really enjoying your old photos. I've snooped a bit in your archives and your stories are great. I'll be back!

GU: I am sooo pleased and when it looked as if I'd lost it I was devastated. I'm living and learning but my NO i son says 'For God's sake mum don't try to put 'READ ME'on it again.'

For some reason this Convalescent Home looks the way I'd imagined.

You almost lost your blog too? Oh no.

Save your work, Pat, on you computer, on a cd, disk, something.

GG: It certainly is a love/hate relationship one has with these machines. I did save everything before I changed and am about to copy them to CD. And a blogging pal suggested storing it in another house!
